In a tweet via the ‘X’ platform, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday, stated, “on the second day of the annual meetings of the UAE government in the capital, Abu Dhabi, we have launched the UAE Investment Strategy, which aims to increase the cumulative foreign direct investment balance threefold by 2031, reaching Dhs2.2 trillion.”
Sheikh Mohammed further stated that during the meetings, a group of distinguished entities were honoured for their contributions to the application of artificial intelligence. A group of distinguished intellectuals and innovators in the country were duly honoured.
“On the second day, a series of specialised sessions were held, along with the signing of various agreements and meetings between different governments of the Emirates,” Sheikh Mohammed added.
His Highness also said, “The annual meetings convene the 500 most influential officials in the country, fostering a unified spirit and collective vision for the future. We are optimistic about the upcoming government year, which we anticipate will be characterised by productive work, tangible achievements and the realisation of national targets.”
