British pop star Dua Lipa thrilled fans in Mumbai on Saturday night with a surprise performance of a mashup combining her global hit Levitating with Shah Rukh Khan’s classic Bollywood track Woh Ladki Jo from the 1999 film Baadshah.
Speaking to the audience, Dua said, “I love you, Mumbai… I am blown away by all this energy. We are going to have a lot of fun. Tonight is about us; it is about me and you and us living in the moment.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, was among the many who couldn’t contain their excitement. She shared a video clip of the performance on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by love, dancing girl, and goofy emojis.

Social media users flooded the comments section with praise for Dua Lipa’s performance, calling it “iconic” and noting she “brought the memes to life.” Another fan exclaimed, “She ate that assignment,” while one added, “It’s Shah Rukh Khan’s world, and we are living in it.”

Dua Lipa’s admiration for Shah Rukh Khan isn’t new. During her 2019 visit to India, she met the Bollywood superstar and posed for a photo with him. Shah Rukh Khan Khan shared the image on his Instagram, playfully suggesting that Dua learn some of his signature dance moves.
She opened the show with Training Season before moving on to One Kiss, No Lie, and Happy For You. The singer also performed Dance The Night from the 2023 film Barbie, along with fan favourites like New Rules, Be The One, and Break My Heart.
