Dibba Al-Hisn ramps up safety steps for Eid

Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality has wrapped up all preparations for Eid Al-Fitr, executing a range of meticulously planned programmes and initiatives designed to strengthen its regulatory and awareness roles while delivering high-quality services to residents.

In celebration of the occasion, the city’s streets, squares, and entrances have been adorned with vibrant and illuminated decorations.

Strengthening food safety and public health measures Taleb Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality, emphasised the municipality’s commitment to public health and safety during the Eid Al-Fitr period.

He confirmed that municipal departments would intensify inspections across markets, restaurants, and sales outlets to ensure full compliance with health standards and food safety regulations.

Community support

Municipal teams from various departments have successfully carried out operational plans, which were approved by the Director of the Municipality. These plans include decorating public facilities, intersections, and roundabouts with festive displays.

Moreover, the municipality has launched intensive inspection campaigns across beaches, public parks, markets, commercial outlets, food and health establishments, barbershops, and beauty centres to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. The public is encouraged to reach out to the municipality’s call centre at 993, available 24/7, to report any concerns or seek assistance.

He also extended his warmest congratulations to the UAE leadership and people, expressing his hopes for a blessed and joyous Eid Al-Fitr filled with happiness and prosperity.

During Eid Al-Fitr, parks in Dibba Al-Hisn will be open from Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 10 PM, and from Friday to Sunday, 4 PM to 11 PM.

During Eid Al-Fitr, the fish market will operate from 7 AM to 1 PM and 4 PM to 10 PM daily, with Friday hours from 7 AM to 11:30 AM and 4 PM to 10 PM.

Similarly, the fruit, vegetable, meat, and poultry market will be open from 7 AM to 11 PM throughout the week, while on Fridays, it will operate from 7 AM to 11 AM and again from 1 PM to 11 PM.
