If you define your objectives clearly there is no doubt at all that you will reach every one of them over the coming year. Aim to have two major tasks on the go at the same time, so you can switch between them whenever you get bored.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you make a promise of some kind today and then fail to deliver on it your reputation will sink like a stone. You may not like saying “No” to people who need your assistance but sometimes it’s the only sensible course of action.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You are being far too hard on yourself when it comes to assessing how well your creative efforts compare to what other people are doing. The planets indicate this would be a good time to remind yourself that you are human like everyone else.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The more friends and colleagues praise you to the skies today the more you must guard against all that approval going to your head. The universe will bring you down to earth with a bang if you start to believe you are better than everyone else.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Take what other people tell you today with a large grain of salt, because they could be trying to butter you up for their own ends. You don’t need their acceptance to feel good about yourself, you just need to carry on with what you are doing.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Don’t overreact to something you hear on the grapevine today because it won’t be true and may even be a ploy by your rivals to demoralize you. Your affairs are moving in the right direction and at the right speed, so stay calm and don’t change a thing.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Stick with the plan and the schedule you have been following these past few weeks, even if there seems to be a better way of proceeding. According to the planets you are more than halfway to your goal, so turning back now would be a huge mistake.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If you are forced to change your schedule today don’t make a big deal of it. Even if you have to put off doing something you were looking forward to there will be plenty more opportunities to get it done before the start of next week.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

By all means visualize where you would like to be and what you would like to be doing a year from now but don’t spend so much time on your daydreams that you neglect to actually start working on them. Take it one small step at a time.

You enjoy making changes, especially when you are bored, but the planets warn you need to leave most things as they are for the time being. One thing you should change though is your tendency to expect people to know what you are thinking.

Being the practical sort you know that the first thing to do when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging. Not everyone in your team seems to be that sensible though, so you may have to forcibly take their spade away from them.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Just because a friend or relative is being evasive about what they are up to does not mean they are doing anything illegal or immoral. Maybe they just want to be able to get on with it without you constantly advising them how it should be done.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Life can sometimes be amazingly random, so embrace whatever fate sends your way today and make a point of getting the best from it. While others are grumbling about how unfair it all is you will be sailing along with a smile on your face.
