HOROSCOPES

You cannot afford to be vague about your ambitions. By all means let your imagination guide you but, once you have settled on your No. 1 goal, focus on that to the exclusion of everything else. This can be a year of real achievement, IF you stay focused.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

You don’t have to continually work harder to get further along the road to success. Make it your business this week to look at intelligent ways to harness new technologies and streamline your workflow, leaving yourself more time to relax and have fun.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

If a friend or colleague gets out of line today you cannot afford to let them get away with it. You have been immensely patient with them in recent weeks and if they do not appreciate that then they do not deserve to be treated with respect.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

You may be sticking to the rules of the game but the planets suggest that your rivals are cutting corners left, right and centre, so you need to be on your guard. Don’t lose out to those who believe that all is fair in love and business.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

The cosmic omens are so good for you now that you must speak up with confidence and let everyone you have dealings with know what you believe in and what you will and will not put up with. They won’t dare disagree with you.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You may be impulsive by nature but now the sun is moving through the most sensitive area of your chart it will pay you to be a little less reckless in your actions. Watch what you say as well – not everyone appreciates your outspokenness.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

With Mars in your sign you can and you must put your own needs first. Ignore those who say a more cautious approach is needed because they do not know what they are talking about. Go all out to make your mark on the world.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

It’s not like you to give in to negativity but some self-doubt has crept into your thinking in recent weeks and it must be controlled. Act as if you cannot fail and, when things do go wrong occasionally, pretend it’s of no importance.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

It’s good of your friends to give you so much advice but how much of it can you trust? And do you really need their advice in the first place? Get away from all the social chatter today and let your inner voice come through to guide you.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You need to make sure that employers and other important people know you exist. You may not care much for self-promotion but this is one of those occasions when if you don’t blow your own trumpet you are unlikely to be heard.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The bigger the plans you have for the future the more likely it is you will get the chance to show what you can do over the coming week. Forget about taking small steps and look for ways you can bound ahead of the opposition.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Decision day looms for a financial matter and if you want it to work in your favour you must look super confident when dealing with people in positions of power. You may not always feel it but you can certainly fake it. You’re a very good actor.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Mars in your opposite sign endows you with courage and confidence when dealing with people in challenging situations, but that doesn’t mean you have to go head-to-head with them. Look for ways you can help each other reach the same goals.
