RIYADH – In a major move to streamline the spiritual travel experience, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially launched the Nusuk Umrah service, a comprehensive digital platform that enables international pilgrims to apply for an Umrah visa and arrange their entire trip online.
The platform, accessible at https://umrah.nusuk.sa/, is designed to offer pilgrims greater flexibility and control. Users can now customise their pilgrimage by choosing from integrated packages or individually booking specific services, including visas, accommodation, transportation, and religious tours.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Nusuk Umrah serves as a new, direct channel for international pilgrims, complementing the existing network of accredited travel agents. This initiative aims to significantly improve service quality and enrich the overall experience for the millions of Muslims who undertake the pilgrimage annually.
The launch is a key component of Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom’s strategic framework to diversify its economy. A central pillar of this vision involves developing the tourism sector and enabling it to host a greater number of visitors. By providing high-quality, convenient, and direct digital services, the ministry aims to facilitate a more accessible and spiritually fulfilling journey for all pilgrims.
