IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
So much will change over the coming year that most people will be caught by surprise. But because you were smart enough to foresee many of those changes you will be one of the few who stays calm and takes advantage of this brave new world.
IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
Having made so much of an effort to please other people in recent weeks you must now demand that they give you the space to follow your own goals for a while. If they offer to help you, that’s nice, but insist on going it alone.
ARIES (March 21 – April 20):
You may not want to be the centre of attention but like it or not the eyes of the world are on you. You don’t have to do anything special though – just be yourself and let others see how you can make difficult tasks look so easy.
TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):
Set aside some time over the next 24 hours to think about your philosophy of life. You may be of the opinion that you don’t really have one but there is certainly something that guides your actions, and that is what you need to examine in detail.
GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):
The fact that someone in a position of power expects you to follow their lead does not mean you have to. Cancer is a cardinal sign and not given to taking orders from people who you either don’t know well enough or who you simply don’t respect.
CANCER (June 22 – July 23):
Go your own way and do your own thing today but be aware that you may have to return to base quickly to deal with some sort of crisis. Make sure friends and loved ones can get hold of you easily, because your leadership skills will be in demand.
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
A creative endeavour may be going well but it will also bring challenges between now and the weekend. Whatever they may be you have what it takes to overcome them and win others round to your way of thinking – and, let’s face it, you’re usually right.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):
If you keep pushing at the door it will swing open sooner or later, maybe even today. The sun in your sign gives you all the power you need to keep going, even when so-called wiser heads say you have already gone too far.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):
Don’t worry if a loved one seems determined to take what you say the wrong way today. Most likely they are in one of those perverse moods when it amuses them to say the opposite of what you want to hear. Sounds a bit like you actually!
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
You may be an ideas person but that does not mean you HAVE to follow to a radical conclusion every thought that enters your head. Work on the assumption today that doing nothing will be more constructive than following your muse.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):
Pluto is coming to the end of its retrograde phase in the money angle of your chart, which means you can at last see your financial situation for what it is, rather than what you wanted it to be. The good news is there’s really not that much difference.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):
Yes, you can have it all, and the choices you make today will move you closer to your desires than you ever thought possible. Put a name to your dream and then start taking those small steps toward it that will soon enough turn into giant strides.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
If you try to push a loved one in a direction they don’t want to go you will fail. You may think you are strong enough to make it happen but their power to resist is even stronger, so either persuade them with logic or leave them alone.
