The country is expecting severe weather conditions from Friday evening, March 8th, until noon on Sunday, March 10th, bringing heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning, thunder, and occasional hailstorms.
The country is expected to be affected by an extension of a surface depression from the south, accompanied by humid southeasterly winds, along with an extension of an upper air depression accompanied by the presence of a cold air mass, with different amounts of clouds flowing from the southwest and west.
This was revealed during a press briefing by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) on Thursday.
Authorities urged resident to be cautious and avoid going to the sea, places where valleys flow, where water accumulates, and places where hail falls, and to follow instructions issued by the concerned authorities to avoid any unwanted events, wishing safety for everyone.

“We note the importance of protecting oneself and others through cooperation with the concerned authorities, full and complete compliance with the instructions of the competent authorities, applying safety and prevention requirements, exercising caution and caution, and securing their vehicles, especially in areas that may witness heavy rain and hail, and the need for caution when driving.”
Authorities also emphasised the importance of staying away from water accumulation areas, flood channels, and regions expected to be affected by the weather conditions. We urge avoidance of gatherings that may effect the work of relevant authorities, with attention to the fact that non-compliance with official instructions and directives will carry legal action.
