A photo of an angry woman hung from a tree at a vegetable market in India has gone viral on social media platforms.
A netizen, who first spotted the photo frame with bulging eyes with anger dripping from her face, was casually strolling the market in Bengaluru’s Kathriguppe Water Tank area.
Niharika Rao said on X, “I am so glad I stepped out today” and shared some images. 
Another wrote, “There’s no story, it’s to ward off evil eyes. This photo became a trend and is placed in many other shops too.”
A user said, “I need to hang this on my wall to stay productive…”
One wrote, “That looks damn scary man.”
An X user said, “No one will bargain here.”
In India, one might often sight an image of religious figures and landmarks at shops and market. The vendors believe this would bring good luck and success in their business.
But this particular image was unique.
