Umro Ayyar – A New Beginning

This Eid, Pakistan’s first superhero film swoops into theatres. This upcoming movie is a fantastical adaptation of the classical Urdu-Persian novel Hamzanama, bringing to life the legendary character Umro Ayyar, a master thief and formidable warrior from the mystical realm of Tilism-e-Hoshruba. The film’s trailer promises an epic tale of heroism and adventure that leaps off the pages of legend and onto the silver screen. Audiences may witness the birth of Pakistan’s very own superhero saga.

Starring the dynamic duo of Sanam Saeed and Usman Mukhtar, the film also boasts a star-studded ensemble cast that reads like a who’s who of Pakistani cinema. The film marks the highly anticipated cinematic debut of Samar Jafri, who previously won hearts with his performance in Mayi Ri as a teenager thrust into child marriage. Abhi
