The workshop was attended by a large number of participants including Shahid Pervez Jami, Chairman of the Tax Forum; former Income Tax Commissioners Zulqarnain and Basharat Qureshi; General Manager of Faletti’s Express Shimla Hill Zulqarnain Chaudhry; Managing Director of Zamin Group of Companies Asad Jafri; renowned businessman Sheikh Muhammad Akbar; CEO of Global Biz International Hamid Butt; Tax Consultant Rana Azam; and tax managers, directors, and CEOs from other well-known companies in Lahore such as High Tech and Big Brothers.
During the event, Shahid Pervez Jami, Chairman of the Tax Forum, addressed the participants, stating that tax laws are complex and challenging. He emphasized the need for tax laws to be formulated based on fundamental principles so that the general public can also understand them.
