LONDON – Air France plans a new domestic strategy to reflect demand on routes to North Africa and other market trends including greater use of video conferencing in the wake of the pandemic, Air France-KLM’s CEO said on Thursday.
Its capacity at Orly airport near Paris will be shifted to North African routes as Air France almost eliminates its position at the hub, CEO Ben Smith said at an investor day event in Paris.
Some Air France capacity will also be shifted to Transavia, a budget airline in the group, Smith said.
