New Girnas service offers personalized consultations and AI chat support as part of KHDA’s Education 33 Strategy, unveiled at weekend Education Expo featuring 60+ schools
DUBAI – Emirati parents in Dubai now have access to personalized educational guidance through a new AI-powered consultation service launched by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
The Girnas Educational Advisor service, announced during the inaugural Education Expo this weekend, provides one-on-one consultations with KHDA experts and an AI chat assistant to help families navigate school choices based on curriculum, location, fees, and learning needs.
Personalized Educational Guidance
The new platform allows parents to complete a preferences questionnaire, use smart filters to explore options, and access both instant AI guidance and personalized consultations. Emirati families enrolling their children in Dubai private schools for the first time can book these sessions either online or in person.
“Bringing together schools, early childhood centres, and Emirati families under one roof at Education Expo 2025, as well as the launch of the Girnas Educational Advisor service, marks an important step toward strengthening the partnership between families and education providers,” said Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA.
Education Expo Draws Strong Interest
The two-day Education Expo, which concluded on Sunday, featured over 60 private schools and early childhood centres. Nearly 400 Emirati parents attended the first day, exploring educational options from early childhood through secondary grades while learning about admissions procedures and different curricula.
The initiative aligns with Dubai’s Education 33 Strategy, which aims to empower parents to play an active role in their children’s education. The Girnas service specifically supports the strategy’s Pathway Partners component, focusing on equipping parents with tools and support for informed decision-making.
Accessible Digital Platform
Parents can access Girnas through KHDA’s website and mobile app by logging in via UAE Pass. The service is designed to ensure every Emirati child begins their educational journey in a setting that matches their potential and family expectations.
Dr. Amna Almaazmi, CEO of Growth and Human Development at KHDA, emphasized: “This new service demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting Emirati families at every stage of their educational journey.”
