Frustration continues, bad weather ruins Pak-SL first Test day 3

Only 5.2 overs were bowled as Bad light got the better of play on day 3 of the opening Test of the two-match Test series at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi on Friday.

Sri Lanka in the second session only added 19 runs to the total. Their score reached to 282-6. The first session was delayed due to wet outfield because of overnight rain.

Dhananjaya De Silva (87*) and Dilruwan Perera (6*) will resume the innings for the visitors on day 4, which might get hit of rain.

Young pacers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah claimed two wickets and Mohammad Abbas and Shaheen Shinwari have one wicket each to their credit.

Meanwhile, fans had a little joy in the stands as number one batsman Babar Azam, openers Abid Ali and Imam-ul-Haq along with fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi were seen giving autographs and free tickets.
