Heavy rain, hailstorm damage cars in Al Ain

Snow and large hailstones covered large sandy areas, streets and some residential areas in Al Ain city, which witnessed very heavy rains accompanied by large hailstones, strong winds and lightning on early Monday.
The large hailstones and strong winds caused some damage to vehicles.
Residents of Al Ain city expressed their joy at the atmosphere they woke up to as they tried to spot the hailstones.
Also, heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunder fell on Abu Dhabi and its suburbs since dawn hours as a result of the current weather condition caused by the extension of a shallow air depression from the southwest, accompanied by humid southeasterly winds, and an extension of an upper air depression accompanied by a cold air mass and a western air current with the flow of different amounts of clouds.
