India’s Visit: Mohammed bin Salman Orders Release Of 850 Indian Prisoners


Dubai News Report– Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has announced releasing over 800 Indian prisoners from Saudi jails and enhancing Haj quota for Indian pilgrims during his trip to India.

Raveesh Kumar, the official spokesperson for India’s Ministry of External Affairs, tweeted that the Saudi CP had ordered the release of 850 prisoners lodged in Saudi jails.

Entertaining request made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prince Salman also announced an increase in Haj quota to 200,000 for Indian pilgrims.

Pakistani foreign minister Fawad Chauhdry announced that Saudi Arabia also increased Haj quota to 200,000 for Pakistani pilgrims.
