‘One Billion Followers Summit’ kicks off in Dubai

Influencers followed by billion people will share their knowledge and experiences in the world’s largest event of its kind

The “One Billion Followers Conference”, organized by the Academy of New Media, which kicked off on Saturday, December 3, 2022, is set to host more than 100 speakers from the most important global influencers and content creators who are followed by more than a billion people, at the Atlantis Hotel and Resort, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

The conference is characterized by the participation of the most important international companies in the social media and content sector led by Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Etihad Airways, Nas, Vice, Monk E, Digisay, Vineet Media, One Digital Entertainment, WebTV Asia and Warner Brothers.

More than 3,000 people, 200 CEOs around the world, and more than 300 international companies specialized in creating content and preparing influencers, in addition to more than 100 international agencies working in this field, are participating in the event.

The first day includes a group of workshops, in addition to a series of main sessions and discussions moderated and attended by a group of well-known personalities in the world, who had a prominent role in creating content and influencing global opinion through the famous social media platforms.

The agenda also includes a distinguished participation of TikTok Me, known as Mai and Mama Wafa on social media, and Abdullah Annan, Ahmed Sharif, Omar Al-Helou, Nasser Al-Aqeel, and Maitha Muhammad, and it is managed by Kuwaiti content maker Issa Al-Habib.

The second day of the summit includes more than 20 sessions during which a number of influencers and specialists in the world of content creation will speak, including the the influencer and entrepreneur Karen Wazen; Layla Tamim; Muhammad Orfali; Eman Sobhi; Zaina Khaled; Ahmed El-Ghandour; Alaa Wardi; Vishen Lakhiani, founder of Mindvalley; and Jordan Matter, a creator who tells stories through pictures.

The conference will also include key sessions during which a group of influencers and global content makers will talk about the tools and ways that make the content creator a transcontinental star, in addition to sessions on how to reach the largest number of followers.

The first day includes 3 basic workshops, dealing with a series of prominent topics on the global scene in the world of creating content on social networking sites, and how to positively influence global public opinion on various important issues, including education, finance, and others.

Nassir Yassin, founder and CEO of Nass, will speak during the conference about content makers and their leading role in the world through their ability to innovate and create, while Matthew Robert Patrick, known as MatPat On YouTube channel, 10 years of content creation in just 20 minutes. The first day of the event will witness the participation of more than 40 Arab and international influencers and content makers, in a series of important sessions, workshops and discussions.

On the sidelines of the first day, the attendees will participate in side sessions dealing with creating meaningful and sustainable content in its various forms, and ways to obtain the skills required to ensure continuity in work across various social media sites and platforms, as well as the most prominent methods and tools required to create successful and influential videos.

As for the second day of the Billion Followers Conference, it includes more than 20 sessions during which a number of influencers and specialists in the world of content creation and promotion on social media will speak, including influencer and businesswoman Karen Wazen, Laila Tamim, Muhammad Orfali, Eman Sobhi, Zina Khaled, Ahmed El-Ghandour, Alaa Wardi, Fishen Lakhiani, founder of Mindvale, and Jordan Matter, an influencer known for telling stories on social media through a collection of images.

Elie Yonas from the Mita Group, YouTuber Anas Marwa, Ahmed Al-Marzouki, Abdullah Al-Bandar, Saif Al-Dahab, Tariq Yassin, Iman Sobhi, Farid Chong, Viraj Seth, Gurpreet Singh, and Hussein Al-Atoli, in addition to a group of prominent stars on social media and influencers, are participating. Who made them a prominent place in this vast digital world in the world.
