The MMA promotion’s ambitious 2026 schedule includes 24 events worldwide, with historic debuts in Spain and a return to Pittsburgh after a decade-long absence for major MMA.
NEW YORK – The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has unveiled an aggressive global schedule for 2026, announcing 24 events that will see the mixed martial arts promotion break new ground in Europe and re-establish a presence in a classic American sports city.
The 2026 campaign, which will be broadcast in the U.S. on ESPN, includes 16 global events and eight regional shows split between Africa and the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region.
The year will kick off with the PFL’s now-established event in Dubai in February 2026, marking its third show in the city. The “Road to Dubai” card, following previous headliners like Usman Nurmagomedov and Paul Hughes, will have its bouts announced shortly.
A major highlight of the announcement is the league’s long-awaited debut in Spain. PFL Madrid is officially scheduled for March, bringing major-league MMA to the Spanish capital.
Simultaneously, the PFL will make its debut in the American city of Pittsburgh in March. Known for its rich sports heritage, Pittsburgh has not hosted a major MMA event in nearly a decade, making PFL Pittsburgh the city’s premier MMA showcase in years and the promotion’s first U.S. event of 2026.
The early-year schedule will conclude in April with a return to Chicago for the fourth time. The PFL has a recent history in the city, having hosted stars such as Fabian Edwards and Sergio Pettis there in June 2025.
This expansive schedule signals the PFL’s continued commitment to establishing a year-round, global footprint in the competitive world of professional mixed martial arts.
