RAK Police rescue 7 Asians who had lost their way in a rugged location in Wadi Shahha

The highly skilled Air Wing search and rescue teams of Ras Al Khaimah Police successfully rescued seven stranded Asians who had lost their way in the rugged terrain of Wadi Shahha in Ras Al Khaimah. Thanks to their swift and decisive action, all individuals were safely recovered, including one who had fainted from exhaustion.
The Head of the Search and Rescue Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, Major Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Saman, reported that a highly skilled crew from the Search and Rescue Department was immediately mobilised to Wadi Shahha upon receiving a report that seven people were stranded. The crew tenaciously searched for the individuals and expertly determined their location.
As the stranded people were found far in the rugged terrain of Wadi Shahha, the rescue team had to walk on foot to reach the location and transport one of them on a stretcher, as he had fainted and lost consciousness, Al Saman added.
He also said that the Ras Al Khaimah Police helicopter was confidently used to identify a suitable landing location in the valley. The injured man was promptly transported to a hospital in the Emirate to receive necessary medical care. The other individuals were found to be in good and stable condition, and were provided with first aid before being transferred to their gathering point at the entrance of the valley, he added.
