RAS AL KHAIMAH– H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has reaffirmed the importance of education in economic development and broadly on improving people’s lives, terming education as the real bet to keep up with the breakneck pace of the multi-faceted international developments occurring on various fronts.
H.H. Sheikh Saud made the remarks while attending the 2018-2019 Graduation Ceremony of 65 Grade 12 students at Ras al-Khaimah Academy, which was held at the theatre of the Cultural Centre in Ras-al Khaimah.
“Education is the real investment through which we are seeking to groom qualified national cadres capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments witnessed by the world in various fields, primarily in areas of technology and knowhow,” he added.
“We are determined to prepare a generation of future leaders who will be able to achieve the country’s national vision, which is based on joining the top ranks of the world’s best education systems.
