Blockbuster first part crosses ₹766 crore in India, with trade analyst Taran Adarsh predicting historic box-office run into 2026.
MUMBAI – Ranveer Singh’s epic action drama Dhurandhar is storming toward a historic box-office milestone, with leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh predicting it could become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
Released on December 5, 2025, the Aditya Dhar-directed film has already amassed approximately ₹766.90 crore (Dh313.4 million) in India alone within its first month. The movie continues to draw strong audiences, maintaining double-digit earnings even on its fourth Wednesday—a rare feat in the industry.
“Dhurandhar continues its phenomenal, record-smashing run,” Adarsh stated on social media platform X, highlighting its sustained performance. “The film has entered 2026 with the aim of emerging as the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.”
Dhurandhar, a two-part cinematic event, features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sanjay Dutt alongside Singh. Its success has set new benchmarks both domestically and internationally since its debut.
The second installment of the film is scheduled for release on March 19, which is expected to further boost the franchise’s overall earnings and cultural impact.
Industry observers are now closely watching whether Dhurandhar can surpass the lifetime collections of current record-holders, cementing its place in Bollywood history.
