Ras Al Khaimah: The Air Wing of Ras Al Khaimah Police, in collaboration with the Search and Rescue Department, successfully rescued two tourists — a man and a woman — who had become stranded while attempting to reach the summit of one of the emirate’s mountains at an altitude of 3,000 feet.
The operation was launched after the Air Wing received a distress report from the operations room, alerting them to the situation.
The two tourists, both of Asian descent, were reported to be exhausted and in need of assistance. In response, an Air Wing helicopter was immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the helicopter crew located the stranded individuals, provided them with the necessary support, and safely transported them back to the ground.
