The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to be an eye-catching nation in coming years as a significant jewel of the glittering destination will be the megaproject called Trojena, part of the $500 billion project Neom City.
Trojena will offer year-round outdoor skiing and adventure sports and is slated to be completed in 2026. Trojena has officially won the bid to host the Asian Winter Games 2029.

Trojena will include six distinctive development districts

Four seasons of Trojena, the ultimate holiday destination
Trojena is dubbed a year-round outdoor destination for skiing and adventure sport; however, it is best to learn of their four seasons and pay a visit per the activities that suit you and your family. The Wellness Season comprises a wellness summit, alternative medicine, and yoga retreat conducted between September and November.The Winter Season offers skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, winter fashion week, and film and music festivals, which take place from December to March. Trojena will play host to the 2029 Asian Winter games
Located 50km from the Gulf of Aqaba, Trojena aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. With Trojena complete, Saudi Arabia will be the first country in the Middle East to be awarded the iconic 2029 Asian Winter Games. Trojena will contain more than 3,600 hotel rooms and 2,200 homes. The 9th edition of the games will be located in the highest mountain range in Saudi Arabia and will welcome participants from over 32 countries.
It is expected to attract a whopping 700,000 visitors by 2030 and bring 10,000 jobs to generate ( SAR3 billion) $1 billion for the Kingdom.
