In line with the illustrious legacy of the founding fathers of UAE and to ascertain the Nation’s pole position as a global economic powerhouse, Sheikh Sultan Bin Rashed Bin Humaid Al-Nuaumi has hand-picked a set of brilliant minds to establish the Think Tank – UAE Strat 2071.
UAE Strat 2071 will research and develop strategies to enhance UAE’s global impact through leadership in humanitarian and environmental efforts. The Think Tank will also seek to consolidate cooperation with international organizations and instil a passion for progress within the Country’s youth, who will shape their futures as new leaders of the Country.
UAE Strat 2071 will also play the role of an investment promotion hub for all emirates.
The core focus of UAE Strat 2071 would be on developing Environmental Sustainability as an industry and supporting the UAE NET ZERO 2050 mission. The Think Tank further aims to develop multidisciplinary carbon monetizing frameworks to make sustainable development and businesses gratifying in more ways than one. The process would involve developing and designing Public-Private Partnerships to enable the visions of the leadership to become a reality.
Sheikh Sultan further announced that Dr Lal Bhatia will head UAE Strat 2071 as Director and Chair.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Rashed Bin Humaid Al-Nuaumi is a member of the Royal family of Ajman and is also known for playing a pivotal role in the development of the Emirate’s real estate market. Sheikh Sultan has also championed projects that have resulted in developing and implementing local and international health and educational initiatives. Including the provision of free healthcare in Ajman, to participating in the establishment of its Police Department, working on a team that builds world-class hotels, and participating in the building of the Ajman Port and Ajman Free Zone.
Dr Lal Bhatia is a global thought leader, investor and innovator who has conceptualized and developed new business models in challenging environments. Dr Bhatia’s core competencies include New-Ventures, Team Building, Change Management, Tactical Acquisitions, Good Governance and Strategy. As a strategic thinker with strong ethical standards and a focus on results, Dr Bhatia has been advocating sustainable development and carbon monetization as the Chairman of the Hilshaw Group.
