T-Series uploaded ‘Dammante Patukora’ on December 24 but removed it due to controversy.
A popular song from the highly anticipated Tollywood blockbuster ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ starring Allu Arjun, has been deleted from YouTube.
The videos satirical take on the police resulted in its deletion from YouTube.
According to Indian media, the song “Dammante Patukora” was removed in connection with the Bhagdhar cinema case. Although not part of the official soundtrack, the track gained immense popularity among fans following the movie’s release.
T-Series uploaded the song on December 24, but it was taken down within hours due to the ongoing controversy.
The song, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, was inspired by a scene where Fahadh Faasil’s character, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, challenges Allu Arjun’s character, Pushpa Raj, with the line, “If you dare, catch me Shekhawat; if you do, I’ll leave the syndicate.” This dialogue was later turned into a remix for the dance number.
After its release, the song faced sharp criticism on social media. While some found it humorous, others deemed its timing inappropriate, especially as Allu Arjun was reportedly facing legal issues with state authorities and the police.
In light of the backlash, T-Series decided to remove the song from YouTube and other platforms to prevent further escalation of the controversy. Fans, however, continue to discuss the song and its unexpected removal across social media.
