The italian dancer Roberta Di Laura also for the year 2019 is confirmed as “Member of International Dance Council, Paris UNESCO”, the most important organization all over the world for every forms of dance. She has joined this prestigoius Council sice 2013 and she has got the possibility to offer an international certification to her students and to partecipate at World Dance Congresses promoted by CID Sections.
Roberta Di Laura was born in Taranto in 1992, professional dancer, teacher and choreographer, Member of the International Dance Council of Paris (UNESCO), Ambassador of the “Universum Academy Switzerland” of Lugano and artistic director of the International Universum Dance Award, graduated in classical, modern and contemporary dance at the Free University of Dance and Theater of Mantua with recognition by the Ajkun Ballet Theater of New York, graduated in Arts and Performing Sciences at the Sapienza University in Rome, she continues the studies with the course of master’s degree in “Theater, Cinema, Dance and Digital Arts” at the same University, she has followed dance stages with internationally renowned masters, first dancers and étoiles from the major academies of the dance scene such as the St. Petersburg Vaganova Academy , Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, Opera in Vienna, Bolshoi in Moscow, Ballet of Cuba, Op éra in Paris, Royal Ballet of Flanders, English National Ballet in London, Contemporary Dance School in Hamburg, Steps on Broadway in New York and many others. She has taken part in various stages at prestigious academies such as the La Scala Theater Dance School in Milan, the Dance School of the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, the Ballet School of Rome and the National Dance Academy in Rome.
She has presented Dance works of Research for the World Dance Congresses held in Athens, St. Petersburg, Canada, Florida, Warsaw, Ukraine, Avignon and Tokyo where she was the only Italian to send a dance work of research and to represent Italy abroad. In addition, during the 50th World Dance Congress held in Athens was presented her thesis “Ida Rubinstein: revolution between theatre and dance”. She has won several competitions and scholarships, has curated choreography for several important events and was invited to dance in numerous prestigious events in Italy and abroad, including her debut as a prima ballerina and principal interpreter in the international production “Titanic Live Concert” with music by Robin Gibb (Bee Gees) and Robin J. Gibb, her participation in the “International Festival of Sanremo Wellness”, “Giovani Eccellenze 2017 – Urbino” as a guest of honor and several tour in Germany where she took part as a dancer at various events including “Intercultural Festival of Cologne” and “Love, Love. She has received several awards and honors for her achievements in dance, including: “The Night of the Oscars” 2014, “International Prize Crisalide Valentino’s City2015” for the dance, “Nilde Iotti Award 2016” as a distinguished female character in the dance industry “for having given prestige to the City of Taranto with its meritorious work in the world of dance”, in the presence of authorities and high institutional positions including the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Valeria Fedeli, “City of Monopoli Award” for the category Young Excellent, “International Universum Women’s Award” by the “Universum Academy” of Lugano chosen among ten female characters from all over the world and on the same occasion she also receives from the International University of Peace the appointment of “Ambassador of Peace. The young woman was also awarded by the City of Statte, her town of residence, which gave her a plaque of recognition as “Ambassador of grace and beauty in the world” and has been nominated “Honorary Member” of the International Association Pugliesi nel Mondo “.
