UAE announces 1,297 new Covid-19 cases, 783 recoveries, and 4 deaths

As many as 113,220 new Covid-19 tests were carried out over the past 24 hours

ABU DHABI — The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reported 1,297 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, along with 783 recoveries.
As many as 113,220 new Covid-19 tests were carried out over the past 24 hours, taking the total to 16 million tests so far. Four deaths were also reported.
As part of its intensified testing campaign, MoHAP announced 1,297 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 162,644.
According to the ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and are receiving the necessary care.
MoHAP also announced four deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 563.
MoHAP also noted an additional 783 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 151,044.
