The National Centre of meteorology (NCM) has confirmed the formation of cumulus clouds accompanied by rainfall and a decrease in temperatures with dust-stirring winds from Thursday until next Sunday.
These conditions are the result of the extension of a weak surface air depression from the east, accompanied by an air extension in the upper atmosphere.
As for the weather forecast, the NCM has predicted that the weather on Thursday will be clear to partly cloudy at times, with low clouds appearing on the eastern coast.
Humidity is expected at night and Friday morning, with the possibility of light fog forming in some areas, especially coastal areas.
Winds will be northeast to northwest, light to moderate in speed and sometimes active during the day.
Dust will be present, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 up to 40 km/h. The sea will be light wave in the Arabian Gulf and light to medium wave sometimes in the Sea of Oman.
The Friday’s weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy at times, with low clouds forming on the eastern coast. There is a chance of cumulus clouds forming in the east in the afternoon, which may be accompanied by rain.
Temperatures will drop further, especially in the east, and it will be humid at night and Saturday morning.
Coastal and interior areas may see fog or light fog forming, and the winds will be northeast to northwest, light to moderate speed, and sometimes active during the day, stirring dust. The sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
The weather on Saturday is predicted to be clear to partly cloudy at times, with low clouds appearing on the east coast in the morning. There will be an opportunity to form cumulus clouds in the east and south in the afternoon, accompanied by rain.
There will be humid conditions at night and Sunday morning, with the possibility of fog or light fog forming in some areas, especially the coastal areas.
The winds will be northeast to northwest, light to moderate speed, and sometimes active during the day, causing dust and light waves in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
The weather on Sunday is also expected to remain clear to partly cloudy at times, with low clouds forming on the eastern coast in the morning and the potential for cumulus clouds to develop in the east and south in the afternoon, accompanied by rain.
Coastal areas will be humid at night and on Monday morning. The winds will be southeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate speed and sometimes active during the day, stirring dust and dirt, with a speed of 10 to 25 km/h. The sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and light to medium waves sometimes in the Sea of Oman.
