HOROSCOPES

The more physically and mentally active you are over the coming year the more you will accomplish, but as far as your emotions are concerned you must be cautious. Always think before you speak and always strive to see both sides of every dispute.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

Should you be worried if someone you do not usually get along with sings your praises as the new week begins? It’s possible they are trying to lull you into a false sense of security but more likely they really are impressed by your efforts.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

Anyone who promises you a huge financial return for just a small investment is not to be trusted. The more convincing they sound the more you will need to put some distance between you. They certainly don’t have your interests at heart.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

Cosmic activity in your sign will make you super mellow over the next 24 hours but you will still need to respond to some kind of challenge. Just because you are in love with the whole wide world doesn’t mean everyone feels the same way about you.

If you are less than 100 per cent happy with what you are being asked to do you must say “No”. That may not be easy if the person doing the asking is your employer or a senior colleague but you cannot afford to let them intimidate you.

If a colleague wants to have the last word today then let them. It’s no skin off your nose if they have got themselves so worked up about something that they insist they are right and you are wrong. Their self-deception is actually quite amusing.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

Because your plans have reached a crucial stage you must make sure that even the smallest step you take moves you in the direction of your dreams. If you go off at a tangent today you could end up many miles from your ultimate goal.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Some people can be ridiculously negative and one such person needs to be kept at arm’s length so their moods don’t drag you down as well. For best results pretend you can’t hear what they’re saying. If you ignore them they may go away.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If what you are told by a supposedly trusted source seems a bit dubious then do some research and come to your own conclusions. They may not be intentionally trying to deceive you but it’s possible they have themselves been deceived.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You have never been the sort to let others coerce you into doing what you know you won’t enjoy and you are not about to change your ways now. Make sure everyone knows you have zero tolerance for those who don’t respect your views.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You must keep a sense of proportion today, especially when dealing with people who tend to magnify every small setback and call it a major disaster. If they want to wallow in doom and gloom that’s up to them but you don’t have to join in.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may believe that what you are working on is destined to be a huge success, and maybe it is, but don’t get careless. With next weekend’s full moon taking place in your sign you could regret it later on if you act in haste now.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

There will be times over the next few days when you fear you may have bitten off more than you can chew. The good news is that even if you have the experience will force you to up your game and find new ways to win.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
