IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A Mars-Pluto link on your birthday will endow you with almost superhuman levels of energy and encourage you to believe that with the right degree of ambition and application all things are possible. Those who stand in your way won’t be standing for long!

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

A new solar year begins for you today, and with your ruling planet Mars also on excellent form the omens are good for the coming month. Don’t let anything hold you back – if there is something you are keen to do then get on with it straight away.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Don’t be surprised if certain people are unreasonably critical of you over the next few days. And don’t react to it either. If you show that you are a bit thin-skinned they will try all the harder to rile you. Pretend you just don’t care.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Get out into the world and have fun with your friends. Some may say that it’s wrong to be so light-hearted when there are so many things that need changing in the world but the fact is you are more likely to change them with laughter than with anger.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23)

If you dream about moving up in the world, or of doing something special, now is the time to stop thinking about it and start doing the things that will bring it about. Don’t be afraid to approach people in positions of power – they want to help you.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Restrictions that have been holding you back in recent weeks will lose their power over you as from today. The sense of freedom you feel will be amazing. Take advantage of it by going where you want, when you want, with whom you want.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

It is important that you stick closely to the facts today, especially where anything to do with your financial health is concerned. It’s not like you to get sentimental, especially about material things, but there is a real danger of that now.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

No matter how independent-minded a Libra you may be you will want to get close to people now that the sun is moving into the partnership area of your chart. Never doubt that you are loved and never miss a chance to give back love in return.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

It’s one thing to have a head full of good ideas but quite another to take those ideas and make something of them. Over the next few weeks you should focus on one, maybe two, of them and go all out to turn great ideas into concrete realities.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You should be at your most outgoing and optimistic now that the sun is moving in your favour. You certainly won’t waste time worrying about issues you have no way of changing or controlling. Life is about what you can do, not what you can’t do.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Cosmic activity in one of the more emotional areas of your chart could make you a bit touchy, even more so as the moon is almost full. Whatever others might say and do try not to let it get to you. It’s a mistake to take everything personally.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Your words have more of an effect than you sometimes realize, so watch your tongue today and tomorrow because it will be easy for others to take what you say the wrong way, and with a full moon looming they may not be inclined to forgive you.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

As the sun moves out of your birth sign today you have to come to terms with the fact that you no longer have the same room for manoeuvre as you did before. There is still plenty you can do, but you can’t do it all on your own.
