HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Your confidence will be sky-high over the coming year but with mind planet Mercury going through its retrograde phase on your birthday you must make sure that self-belief is justified. It won’t be enough to just say you’re a winner, you’ve got to act like one.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Big things will be happening over the next few weeks but for best results you must be open to all possibilities. Changes will be good for you but they may not always seem beneficial to begin with. Go with the flow and let the universe guide you.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Don’t try too hard to convince people that you know what you are talking about because that will make them suspicious. The best way to earn their trust is to act first and let them see you can walk the walk as well as talk the talk.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

What appears to be a setback during the early part of the week will morph into something much more positive later in the week, so stay calm and accept what fate sends your way. One way or another you will reach your No. 1 goal.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You will face some pretty tough obstacles over the next few days but you have what it takes to overcome each and every one of them. The more of an effort you make now the less daunting those obstacles will appear to be later on.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

It may seem as if your options are limited at the moment, and maybe they are, but the long-term prognosis is extremely good, so keep believing that the right opportunity will arrive at just the right time and your belief will help make it a fact.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If you want something badly enough this week you will find a way to get it, although you may have to tread on a few sensitive toes along the way. That could make certain individuals a bit resentful but life is not a popularity contest.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The best way to get what you want is to make sure that the people you live and work with get what they want as well. What’s good for you will be good for them, and what’s good for them will be good for you. It’s win-win!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you focus your attention in one particular direction over the next 24 hours you will make the kind of progress that usually takes weeks or even months to achieve. Scorpios have such powerful minds that all things – yes, all things – are possible.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

A disagreement of some kind could end up being expensive, especially if you are convinced that you are the one in the right. Maybe you are, from your point of view, but this is one of those situations where there may be several variations of the truth.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

As a project seems to be in a state of limbo at the moment this would be a good time to take a break and replenish your physical, mental and emotional batteries. You don’t have to be on the go all day, every day, so slow down a bit.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Opportunities will come thick and fast over the coming week but if you want to make the most of them you must be selective. It will be more productive to choose one aim and stick with it than chopping and changing every few days.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Don’t worry if you get a bit touchy over the next 24 hours because even a saint might lose their cool with everything that is going on around you. If you allow yourself to get upset it could affect your judgment, which will benefit your rivals.
