HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Although the lunar eclipse on your birthday suggests there will be conflicts of one kind or another, your ruling planet Venus will help you find the soothing words that can smooth things over. If you can make criticism sound like praise then you’ve got it made.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

As today’s lunar eclipse takes place in your sign you must guard against self-pity and emotionalism. If you start feeling sorry for yourself it will warp your ability to think straight, so remind yourself of the many things you still have to be thankful for.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

If you have to come down hard on a friend who has been taking liberties today you must not feel bad about it. It’s their fault they are in this position and they need to be forcefully reminded that you are not someone who can be taken advantage of.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Your head may be full of wonderful ideas at the moment but how many of them are practical? Today’s lunar eclipse will encourage you to believe that the impossible can be made to happen if you put in enough effort – but it isn’t true.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You must be honest with friends and colleagues about what you intend to do and whether or not they figure in your plans. Sometimes you have to be brutal and this is one of those occasions when your feelings cannot be allowed to dictate your choices.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you hear conflicting reports as to what’s been going on both at home and at work you must close your ears to it all and refuse to believe one side or the other. Come the weekend the situation will be a lot clearer, so wait until then.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The line between fantasy and reality may wear a bit thin over the next 24 hours, so make sure what you are doing is guided by common sense rather than wishful thinking. It’s good that you know how to dream but don’t take them too seriously.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts

Someone you interact with on a day-to-day basis has been causing you some trouble of late and now you must decide what to do about it. Do you cut them off completely or do you give them a final warning? Only you can decide.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may think that by staying in the background you can avoid disputes and disagreements but sooner or later you are going to have to choose sides. Watch carefully how other people behave today and give your support to the side that seems stronger.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

There is no point getting angry with a friend or colleague who thinks and acts in second gear because they are incapable of going any faster. If you believe they are slowing you down then it might be better to push ahead on your own.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

As today’s lunar eclipse cuts across important angles of your chart you need to be aware that everything you say and do is going to have a knock-on effect. So make sure what you say and do is positive and pleasant and benefits everyone.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

There is no point fighting events over which you have no control. Just accept what comes your way and adapt yourself to it as best you can. Let the world see you are not as fixed in your outlook as some people say you are.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Venus, planet of harmony, moves into the career area of your chart today, making it easier to reach out to employers and colleagues. However, you would be wise to avoid negotiations of a financial nature until early next week. You’ll get a better deal then.
