IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Mercury, your ruler, is lit up by the sun on your birthday, so the next 12 months are going to be special. If you identify your three main goals and focus on them exclusively you will accomplish in a year more than most people manage in a lifetime.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you know what you want on the work front this weekend you can quite easily find a way to get it. Your powers of persuasion are such that even if colleagues don’t really want to give it to you they will hand it over without a fuss.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Are you aiming too high and expecting too much of yourself? Not in the slightest. In fact, the current sun-Mercury link means you are so clear-minded about what you want from life that your ambitions are sure to succeed. The universe is on your side.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The message of the stars this weekend is that you must be who and what you want to be and ignore what other people expect of you. It’s your life and only you have the right to decide in which direction it is going to move.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You may be reluctant to say what you think over the next 48 hours but you must, even if you know that some people are going to strongly disapprove. Mercury, planet of communication, is very much on your side at the moment, so speak up!

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

What occurs this weekend is going to have a big effect on your cashflow situation, not immediately but certainly before the end of the month. Now is the time to get serious about a creative project you hope can solve your money worries.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun close to your ruling planet Mercury in your own sign makes this the perfect time for new beginnings. Disregard what other people say and do only what truly inspires you. What does your heart tell you? Now follow it with your head!

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You need to face up to a problem that has been bugging you for a very long time. Most likely it is not much of a problem at all but your imagination has magnified its importance and now you fear even thinking about it. But you must!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

There have not been too many thrills of late but that will change, especially if you are prepared to get out into the world and mix with a wider range of people. There is an exciting new friendship out there waiting to be discovered.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

A sun-Mercury union in the career area of your chart means you will be thinking mostly about the professional side of life this weekend. If a new path opens up to you that could be a sign from the cosmos that it’s time for a change.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You don’t HAVE to always do what other people expect of you. You don’t HAVE to make sure their happiness is catered for ahead of your own. Make this the weekend when you let everyone know that from here on in YOUR needs come first.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may be suspicious of someone’s motives this weekend but don’t take it too far. Yes, of course, you must do your due diligence and make sure you are not being tricked in some kind of deal but once that’s been done you need to stop worrying.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Cosmic activity in your opposite sign of Virgo makes this the ideal time to reach out to someone in your private life and let them know you want to build a relationship that is based on mutual trust. You will find they want exactly the same thing.
