HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

If you look back over the past 12 months you will get a warm glow of satisfaction when you realize how far you have travelled and how much you have grown. Don’t rest on your laurels though – the next 12 months can be twice as good.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Try not to get excitable about what’s going on in the world this weekend because if you go to far – and you probably will – you could find yourself in trouble with people who do not appreciate your aggressive manner. It’s really no big deal, so stay calm.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Do something challenging this weekend, something that nine times out of 10 you would prefer to avoid because it is likely to be difficult. If it gets your heart beating faster that’s a good thing as it will remind you how great it feels to be alive.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Whether or not you are qualified to take on a task of some kind is of secondary importance – what matters more is that you have the confidence and the courage to give it your best shot. Throw yourself in at the deep end and start swimming!

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You may be in a forceful mood at the moment but is that such a good thing? Partners and loved ones could get annoyed if they feel you are dishing out orders you have no right to give. Try to envision how the situation appears to them.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You are entitled to defend your interests but you also need to be smart and recognize that other people have interests too and they won’t always be in alignment with your own. Look for opportunities where you can work together for mutual benefit.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Do something physical over the next 48 hours, something that gets your pulse racing and brings out the competitive side of your nature. You may be one of life’s nice guys but you like to win like everyone else. Team activities will inspire you.

Missed one of your horoscopes? Here are the most recent days’ forecasts

Before you condemn someone whose actions you disagree with try looking at the situation from their point of view. For a Libra that should be easy enough but there are times when you expect the rest of the world to be just like you, and it isn’t.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may be inclined to stay out of the public eye but that may not be possible this weekend as people you have dealings with in the wider world require your assistance. It may annoy you that your peace has been shattered but help them if you can.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Whatever objective you have in mind for the weekend no force on Earth will stop you from reaching it. Think fast, talk fast and move fast when the opportunity arises to make your mark on your surroundings – it should be along any minute now.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It won’t take much to set you off this weekend as Mars in your opposite sign forces you to interact with people you don’t much like. It won’t be easy to control your temper but the planets warn you can and you must watch what you say.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You may be tempted to get involved in a friend’s personal life over the next 48 hours but if you do it is unlikely to end well. You know how much you dislike other people sticking their noses in your business, so don’t do it to them.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The harder you try to resolve a delicate situation the more likely it is to spiral out of control, so take the cosmic hint and leave it alone. You are under no obligation to sort out other people’s issues – and have plenty of your own to deal with.
