HOROSCOPES

As a Leo you are used to being at the centre of things and over the coming year you will be called on again and again to stand in front of groups of people who need your advice. If you speak from the heart they will get the message.

Aries (March 21 – April 20):

Your way with words is so strong at the moment that you can get almost anyone to do almost anything for you. But you must not abuse that ability. Use it instead to help friends and family members who need guidance and encouragement.

Taurus (April 21 – May 21):

According to the planets your current schedule is too demanding and you need to go easier on yourself over the next few days. Don’t kid yourself that you are as strong as a bull and can carry on at this pace indefinitely, because it isn’t true.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21):

The influence of Mars in your chart makes you incredibly dynamic, but when the sun moves into one of the more sensitive areas of your chart at the end of the week there will be signs that you need to slow down – not just a bit but a lot.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23):

A money matter that has been causing serious concern isn’t as dreadful as you seem to think it is and what happens over the next few days will prove it. Yes, you will need to cut back your spending a bit, but don’t sell off all your possessions.

Leo (July 24 – Aug. 23):

A colleague’s inability to get their act together may be disappointing but don’t get angry with them because it won’t change a thing. Instead, focus on your own ambitions and put some distance between you so their lack of professionalism cannot hurt you.

Virgo (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

A rather lacklustre phase is coming to an end and by the time the sun moves into your sign on the 22nd you will be fired up again. Keep your plans simple though. Do one thing really well rather than several things to a much lower standard.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The week ahead is going to be of major importance for your long-term aims. Make use of the sun’s final days in the friendship area of your chart to reach out to people who can help you reach your goals. Don’t try to be an army of one.

Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You need to rise above petty disputes and focus your energy – physical, mental and emotional – on what is important to you personally. You have better things to do with your time than to waste it on people who lack self-control.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Your positive outlook on life may be hugely impressive but don’t get carried away. Yes, you can charm the birds from the trees in the short term but you will at some stage be expected to back up your words with action, so don’t promise impossible things.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

One of the very best times of the year will begin for you at the end of the week when the sun moves into the most adventurous area of your chart. Between now and then you must start making plans so you can hit the ground running.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

The next few days could be a bit too quiet for your liking but it’s just the lull before the storm. By this time next week you will be fully occupied with new developments both at home and at work, so enjoy this brief moment of calm.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may have fallen out with one or more people over the past few weeks but that doesn’t mean you can no longer be friends. In fact, not long after the sun moves into your opposite sign on the 22nd you will see eye to eye again.
