New sovereign data infrastructure enables local data storage for 100+ Zoho and ManageEngine cloud solutions, supporting UAE’s digital and cybersecurity agenda.
DUBAI – Zoho Corporation, the global technology firm, has inaugurated its first data centres in the United Arab Emirates, marking a key milestone in its Dh100 million investment pledge for the region. Located in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the facilities will host more than 100 cloud-based solutions from its Zoho and ManageEngine portfolios, aimed at bolstering data sovereignty and cybersecurity for UAE businesses and government entities.
Announced on Tuesday, the launch underscores Zoho’s strategic push into one of its largest regional markets. The data centres have been certified by the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC), enabling Zoho to serve government and semi-government organisations. Compliance with international standards including ISO 27001 and CSA STAR Level 2 further strengthens the offering.
“These data centres will help businesses store data locally, enhance data sovereignty, and support the UAE’s National Cybersecurity Agenda,” said Shailesh Davey, Co-founder and CEO of Zoho Corporation. “Our solutions are designed to support digital transformation across operations, contributing toward goals such as Dubai Vision 2030.”
The move comes amid sustained growth for Zoho in the UAE. The company reported a 38.7% increase in its UAE business in 2025, alongside workforce expansion of 35% and a 29% growth in its partner network. Leading products include Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Creator, and Zoho Workplace.
Similarly, ManageEngine, Zoho’s IT management brand, grew by 20% in the UAE last year, driven by demand in sectors such as BFSI, government, and manufacturing. Key solutions driving adoption include Endpoint Central, ServiceDesk Plus, and Site24x7.
Hyther Nizam, President of Zoho MEA, confirmed plans to further expand the company’s local workforce, including roles in data centre operations. “With the launch of these data centres, we will ramp up our local teams to meet compliance requirements and operational needs,” he stated.
Over the past five years, Zoho has invested Dh80 million in the UAE, supporting more than 7,000 businesses in digital transformation through partnerships with entities such as Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Culture.
