Addressing travel disruptions caused by airspace restrictions, the Ambassador advised passengers to check directly with airlines for updates on flight resumptions. Flight operations have partially resumed at UAE airports, with authorities and airlines operating a limited number of special flights to help stranded travellers.

Dr Mittal urged the community to remain calm and avoid sharing unverified information on social media. “Do not fall prey to rumours or unverified information,” he said. “Rely only on official channels for updates.”
Earlier in the day, Ambassador Mittal and Consul General Satish Sivan met with Indian community associations in the UAE to address concerns and coordinate support efforts. The mission said it continues to work closely with community groups and local authorities to ensure the well-being of Indians in the country.
