He is a life member of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan, and Human Rights Commission of Pakistan , a specialist in immigration, Human Rights and Constitutional Law. He was awarded the young human rights lawyer of the year 2000 award and was duly elected as First Asian President of Rochdale Law Association (a hundred years old lawyers body).
