There are rumors that a sequel to the hit Bollywood film ‘3 Idiots’ may be in the works, based on videos posted on social media by some of the original cast members. On Friday, actors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Boman Irani, and Jaaved Jaaferi all shared clips that hinted at the possibility of a sequel,  but it’s unclear whether the project is actually in development.

Kareena Kapoor Khan posted a video of herself discussing a press conference attended by Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, and R Madhavan, who starred in the original film. Kareena suggested that the press conference may have been related to a sequel to ‘3 Idiots,’ rather than Sharman Joshi’s upcoming film promotion.

Boman Irani later posted his own video, expressing surprise that a sequel was in the works without his character, Virus. He jokingly scolded the others for not informing him earlier and promised to call Jaaved Jaaferi to discuss the matter.

Jaaved Jaaferi also shared a video, expressing disappointment that a sequel was being made without his character, Rancho. He humorously asked actor Mona Singh if she knew anything about the project.

Fans of the original film were excited by the possibility of a sequel, with many leaving comments expressing their anticipation. However, there has been no official confirmation of a sequel to ‘3 Idiots’ at this time.

If a sequel is indeed in the works, it would undoubtedly be eagerly anticipated by fans of the original film. However, it remains to be seen whether the project will come to fruition, or if it will live up to the high expectations set by its predecessor.

However, fans of the original film have been eagerly sharing their excitement and hope for a sequel, with many expressing their love for the characters and the storyline. Given the success of the original film and the popularity of its cast, a sequel would undoubtedly attract a lot of attention from audiences worldwide. For now, fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from the filmmakers before getting their hopes up.

‘3 Idiots’ was released in 2009 and was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It was a critical and commercial success, winning several awards and becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. The film was about three friends, played by Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi, who reunite years after graduation to search for their missing friend, Rancho (played by Aamir Khan).
