The new regulated fund by Coinvesting Capital opens the UAE’s dynamic property market to global institutional investors, combining regional expertise with international governance standards.
DUBAI: In a move that signals the maturation of the UAE’s real estate sector, Coinvesting Capital Ltd. has launched the first regulated fund dedicated to UAE property under a groundbreaking dual framework linking the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Luxembourg.
The structure establishes the Coinvesting Bread Real Estate Fund L.P. as an exempt fund in the DIFC, with a parallel feeder vehicle in Luxembourg, creating a bridge for international institutional capital to access the UAE market through two of the world’s most respected financial jurisdictions.
A New Era of Institutional Access
This initiative moves the UAE’s property sector beyond its regional dynamism into a phase of global integration. By aligning with the stringent regulatory oversight of both the DFSA in Dubai and the CSSF in Luxembourg, the fund provides a transparent, institution-grade vehicle that meets the rigorous requirements of global allocators.
Eddy Abramo, CEO of Coinvesting Capital Ltd, stated, “The launch of this fund underscores the UAE’s position as a credible destination for institutional capital. This combination provides a regulated platform that aligns the market with international standards.”
Strengthened Governance and Expertise
The fund’s governance is reinforced by the involvement of seasoned professionals. The general partner includes Michael Ruben, CEO of Bread Capital Ltd, and David Szerer, its CMO, who bring extensive experience in asset management and capital markets to the fund’s leadership.
This structure is designed to merge deep regional market knowledge with the discipline and transparency demanded by the global investment community. The launch reflects the UAE’s broader trajectory as a leading financial hub, bolstered by record real estate activity, progressive government reforms, and sustained foreign investment inflows.
