The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Cases Court has ordered a person to pay a sum of Dhs48,995 to a car rental company with which they had entered into a rental agreement for a period of two months.
The individual in question had committed a total of 89 violations and incurred fines on the vehicle in question, resulting in a total fine amount equal to the value of the judgment.
In terms of the specifics, the plaintiff car rental company initiated legal proceedings against the man who had rented a vehicle from it.
The lawsuit sought the transfer of all traffic violations associated with the vehicle, comprising 89 violations over a two-month period, from the company that owned the vehicle to the defendant’s traffic file.
The total financial implications of these violations amount to Dhs48,995, and the defendant is liable for the associated judicial fees and expenses.
The plaintiff entered into a rental agreement with the aforementioned company. However, the defendant committed 89 traffic violations since the date of renting the vehicle. These have not been transferred to the defendant’s traffic file nor paid for, and have led the car rental company to attempt to pressure the plaintiff to pay for these violations. This has prompted the plaintiff to file the lawsuit with the above requests.
