Q Holding Group has entered into significant agreements with Trojan General Contracting, a prominent local contracting and development firm for building 1742 villas in Abu Dhabi’s Al Samha and West Baniyas regions.
This initiative aligns with Q Holding’s collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, aiming to develop these areas in accordance with Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030. The ultimate goal is to create sustainable cities and provide citizens with an advanced housing environment, ensuring the fulfillment of the country’s long-term vision.
Majed Odeh, the Group CEO of Q Holding, expressed the significance of their partnership with Trojan, emphasizing the careful evaluation of Trojan’s exceptional track record in delivering projects to the highest standards. He said: “These agreements reinforce Q Holding’s dedication to contributing value to Abu Dhabi’s economy and society as a whole”. He added that they have confidence in the extensive expertise of their partners, ensuring that the projects will be executed in line with the agreed-upon standards, within the designated timeframe and budget.
Eng. Mohammed Mahmoud, CEO-Trojan, expressed appreciation for being selected by Q Holding to undertake these significant projects. He acknowledged the responsibility entrusted to them to uphold the high standards emphasized by Q Holding. Mahmoud affirmed their commitment to utilizing their extensive expertise to deliver a sustainable housing environment and services that align with the vision of Abu Dhabi’s wise leadership for the future as they will leverage their expertise to achieve these goals.
The scope of work in both conventions includes the design, construction, and infrastructure development for the final delivery of the projects.
Ben Hudson, the CEO of Q Properties, the development division of Q Holding, shared his perspective on the agreement, emphasizing their aspiration to establish Abu Dhabi as one of the premier global cities for quality living worldwide. “Our objective is to provide residents with exceptional community living experiences while promoting a green, clean, and sustainable environment. The collaboration with Trojan endeavours will transform this vision into reality, resulting in the timely and seamless delivery of these projects with top-class quality.
The strategic West Baniyas project is scheduled to be implemented over the next four years. The project will cover an area of approximately 6 million square meters and the construction of 1500 villas, with various necessary infrastructure works including roads, social, educational, and service facilities, parks, and green spaces.
The new Al Samha project will be implemented over thirty-eight months, covering an area of more than half a million square meters. It involves the construction of 242 villas, as well as several necessary infrastructure works accompanying the project to provide environmental sustainability and comfort to its residents.
