SPEA, Mohre sign MoU to enhance employment of citizens in private education sector

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) and Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) signed an MoU to support the employment of specialised citizens and enhance their participation in the private education sector.
Cooperation between the two entities is based on the complementarity of their roles and the promotion of common working tools that allow the use of national competences and human resources capable of contributing to the building of a competitive economy.
The MoU aims to support the implementation of Emiratisation policies and decisions on the private education sector in the Emirate of Sharjah. It further seek to reinforce cooperation in the field of data linkage mechanism between the two sides to ensure the rights of national cadres, promote sustainable career opportunities for national cadres to work in educational facilities in the private sector.
It also states that the rights of citizen employees must be protected when they are employed in the private education sector through following up with private educational establishments to issue a work permit in accordance with the Ministry’s regulations.  It also stipulates creating wage data required by the Ministry for wage protection monitoring systems, registering them in the Sharjah Social Security Fund, and ensuring periodic transfer of contributions with notifying the Ministry electronically on a periodic basis.
The agreement was signed by Aisha Mohammed Belharfiya, Undersecretary of the Mohre for Emiratisation Affairs, and Ali Ahmed Al Hosani, Director of the SPEA, in the presence of Dr Mudtha Yahya Al Hashimi, Chairman of SPEA, Eng Omar Khalfan Bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Chairman of Sharjah Human Resources Department, Ahmed Al Nasser, Assistant Undersecretary for National Human Resources Development, and several administrators from both sides.
