Elon Musk’s satellite service is now available to UAE residents, offering roaming and home internet packages with monthly plans starting from Dh190.
UAE – Residents in the UAE can now sign up for Starlink, the satellite internet service owned by SpaceX and Elon Musk, as it officially becomes available in the country.
According to the company’s website, Starlink is offering a range of flexible plans tailored for both home use and users on the move. Pricing begins at Dh190 per month for a roaming service that includes 100GB of data, while unlimited roaming data is priced at Dh370 per month.
For residential customers looking to replace or supplement their home broadband, Starlink has introduced two key packages:
- Residential Lite: Priced at Dh230 per month for unlimited standard data.
- Residential: Available at Dh300 per month, offering unlimited data at the “maximum available speed.”
To access the service, users must also purchase the necessary hardware kit, which costs Dh1,099.
The launch extends high-speed internet access across the UAE, leveraging Starlink’s vast constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. This technology is designed to reduce latency and provide reliable connectivity, even in areas where traditional fiber or cable infrastructure is limited.
Starlink claims a 99.9% uptime for its residential service and markets it as weather-resilient, making it suitable for streaming, online gaming, and video calls.
As of March 2026, the service is now active in over 150 countries globally. Within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Starlink is currently available in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
