HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You cannot afford to approach the year ahead without some sort of strategy. Taking each day as it comes is all very well but if you want your long-term plans to come good you must have a clear overview of your route to lasting success.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Someone in a position of authority will be asking you some searching questions between now and the weekend and if you don’t know the answers it may not be good for your reputation. You must keep up with the gossip at work.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You seem anxious about something that is of only minor importance when viewed from a wider perspective. What occurs next will remind you that fear is a useless emotion – and that most of all you must not be afraid of something just because it is new.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You should know from past experience that if you go to extremes it tends to provoke an extreme reaction, so slow down, calm down and don’t let other people’s words and actions get to you on an emotional level. It’s not worth the hassle.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

As Mars in your sign opposes mind planet Mercury today there could be a divergence of opinions when dealing with partners and colleagues. But just because you don’t agree on all things does not mean you cannot agree on what truly matters.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You may not feel on top of the world at the moment but don’t get too depressed because there are good cosmic reasons to believe that your luck is changing for the better. If you don’t feel like making an effort then give yourself the day off.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Money worries must not be allowed to get in the way of your long-term plans. If what you are working on is a worthy project – and the planets indicate strongly that it is – then any financial obstacles you encounter won’t hold you back for long.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If you are asked for your opinion on a subject that you know is controversial you must be honest about what you think. Not everyone will like what you have to say but that’s their problem – and maybe next time they will ask someone else!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Your confidence may be high at the moment but today’s Mars-Mercury link could cause a bit of worry where travel and social plans are concerned. Nothing bad is going to happen but you will need to reassess how you intend to spend your time.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

As today’s Mars-Mercury link cuts across the financial axis of your chart you must not make any hasty decisions about your money situation. The more others insist that you do something right away, the more you must take your time and get it right.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Be careful how you talk to loved ones and family members over the next 24 hours. You may not mean to give offence but something you say could be taken the wrong way and cause all sorts of problems. Haven’t you got enough of them already?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

It may seem to others as if you are indifferent to their problems but the fact is you have so many things of your own to think about at the moment that you cannot afford to get involved in their issues too. Put your own needs first.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Be true to your principles today and don’t be tempted to bend them simply to avoid having to pay a little extra. Some things are more important than dollars and cents and chief among them is being able to look yourself in the mirror!
