Your daily horoscope: October 21, 2026

Your daily horoscope: October 21, 2026

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

There will be a massive luck factor working in your favour this year, but there will also be a tendency to waste time on matters of no importance. Try following the 80-20 method: Work on important stuff 80 per cent of the time, and bunk off for the other 20!

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A sudden attraction may take you by surprise today but being an adventurous, and amorous, Aries you won’t hesitate to make something of it. Chances are though it will be no more than a brief fling, so don’t let your feelings carry you away.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you recently started a new fitness regime you must keep going. The planets warn it is reaching that stage where you seriously begin to wonder if it is worth carrying on — but it is and you will hate yourself later if you give up now.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

There is something you have been thinking about, and maybe even planning in outline, for quite some time but for one reason or another never got round to starting for real. So start it today. If you leave it even 24 hours more it may be too late.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The past few weeks have been fun but they also drained you physically and emotionally, so if you feel you could do with a break then take one now and don’t feel you have to make excuses for it. Your time is your own, so use it wisely.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You won’t find the warmth of human contact you need sitting at home watching the television or doom scrolling the internet, so get up, get out into the real world and join forces with the kind of people who share your dreams and desires. There’s lots of them.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

It is never too late to move up in the world, even if you don’t feel particularly ambitious, and what happens over the next few days will bring an opportunity that is tailor-made to meet your needs. Don’t hesitate — grab it and make it your own.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

There may be no limits to what you are capable of but that does not mean you should try to do it all in one mad rush. Neptune’s influence could get your thoughts a bit mixed up over the next 24 hours, so err on the side of caution.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may not be happy with the way some of your friends don’t seem to care what is going on in the world, but they are as entitled to their opinions, or lack of them, as you are. You don’t need their support to make a positive difference.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You have never been the sort to let other people do your thinking for you and have no intention of changing your ways now. Keep yourself apart from the talking heads who always say a lot but never actually do much and let your own mind guide you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You have been a bit too harsh on yourself in recent weeks and need to start being a bit more forgiving. It’s one thing to have lofty dreams and ultra high standards but you’re still human, so try not to expect too much of yourself.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

As one of the zodiac’s “fixed” signs you find it hard to see things from alternative viewpoints, but you must make the effort today. If you insist on viewing other people’s actions only from your own vantage point then you won’t actually see very much.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

At some point today you will consider cutting ties with someone who is giving you a hard time for no good reason. However, the fact that their words and actions are so irrational suggests they may have a problem they need help with. Find out what it is.
