IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
Someone in authority will favour you above your rivals this year, and if you play your cards right you could find yourself in a position of power as well. Libra is a cardinal sign, which means you are naturally ambitious. It’s your turn to shine.
IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
Don’t be surprised or dismayed if partners and colleagues throw their weight around over the next few days. It may seem as if they are being overly assertive but most likely it’s a reaction to the fact that you have been a bit forceful yourself of late.
ARIES (March 21 – April 20):
Leave nothing to chance over the coming week, especially on the work front where your rivals won’t miss an opportunity to point out your mistakes to people in positions of power. Not everyone wants you to succeed, so watch your back.
TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):
Something special will happen over the next few days and you will be at the centre of it. The end of Pluto’s retrograde phase on Thursday could make you somewhat reckless but you have a lot of missed opportunities to make up for.
GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):
You may be inclined to hunker down and hope that the current storm blows itself out but a more courageous approach would be to face up to it and show the doubters you are not afraid to take difficult decisions. They will surely be impressed.
CANCER (June 22 – July 23):
Although your mind is full of good ideas not everyone will approve of how you intend to make use of them. Some people are so set in their ways that even minor changes send them into a tailspin, but you are made of sterner stuff.
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
The efforts you have made in recent weeks have not gone unnoticed and over the next few days even those who opposed you in the past will recognize your true worth. Professionally and financially you are at the start of a wonderful new phase.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):
Life has been pretty good to you of late, but there is one area that has been in a worrying state of flux. Now things have started to calm down you can push ahead again with a creative project that has been very much on-off in recent weeks.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):
There is no point feeling guilty about something even if it was partly your fault that it went wrong. That phase of your life is now over and done with, so put it out of your mind and move on. A positive attitude is an absolute must.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
What is the best way to influence important people? What special talents can you offer that make you stand out from the crowd? Your energy, your enthusiasm and your unrelenting pursuit of excellence will put you ahead of your rivals this week.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):
Make sure that you pursue only your own aims and objectives over the coming week. If you allow other people to set the agenda you could find yourself doing everything for them and nothing for yourself. If in doubt, say “No” and mean it!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):
Pluto comes to the end of its retrograde phase in your sign this week, which should make it easier to deal with people in positions of power. That does not, however, mean you can say and do as you please. You still need to respect their authority.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
Before you can start making progress again you need to deal with whatever nagging doubts have been holding you back. The best way to do that is to treat them as phantoms of your mind that have no right to be there. Banish them and move on.
