‘Your bet on the UAE is a bet on success,’ Sheikh Mohammed tells global investors

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed that many people around the world are betting on the United Arab Emirates with their investments, talents and wealth.

Sheikh Mohammed tweeted in his account on X platform, “In a report issued by the United Nations Trade and Development Organization covering 200 economies around the world, despite the decline in foreign investment flows globally, the UAE achieved a 35% jump in foreign direct investment flows during 2023, amounting to about Dhs112 billion, and ranked the 11th globally (the position which was part of our plan to achieve in 2030).
“The cumulative balance of inward foreign direct investment to the UAE amounted to Dhs828 billion and the cumulative balance of investments issued by the UAE amounted to Dhs965 billion. The UAE also came in the second place globally after the USA in the number of investment projects. “The new direct foreign investments during 2023  were the first in the Arab world, in West Asia, and in the Middle East in terms of inward or outward investments.”
