Motorists arrested for reckless driving and damaging public property in Fujairah

The General Directorate of Fujairah police arrested a number of motorists for driving recklessly in a way that jeopardised road users and caused damage to public property.
The traffic department previously monitored video clips which went viral on social media, for the suspects showing off with their vehicles, in the Madhab area, during a wedding ceremony.
The suspects were arrested shortly after publishing the clips.
Brigadier Mohammed Bin Naieh Al Taniji, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, stated that the necessary legal measures are being taken against the arrested.
The Police warn non-compliant drivers of the need to adhere to traffic rules and laws, adding that the most severe penalties and measures will be taken against any violators who jeopardise the safety of road users.
