Your daily horoscope: September 7, 2026

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You will get the most out of the coming year if you make a conscious effort to stay humble and to recognize that you still have so much to learn. As a Virgo that should excite you, as gaining knowledge is the number one thing you live for.

IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You need to buck up your ideas on the work front. Make it your business over the next few days to get on top of your workload and, where possible, help your colleagues as well. That’s the sort of thing that will impress your superiors.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Don’t worry if you feel a bit low today because the closer you get to the approaching new moon the more energized you will be by events in the world around you. Not only can you sense that your time is coming but you can actually see the signs.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You may be wondering how you are going to resolve a situation that has spun out of control but the good news is you won’t have to. What occurs over the next few days will change the picture completely. Seems you were looking at it from the wrong angle.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The week ahead will be busy in the extreme, so make sure you focus only on the things that matter and leave everything else to another time, and maybe even to other people. Most importantly, you need to think bigger than before.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you get the chance to prove yourself today you must grab it with both hands, because it may be quite a while before a repeat opportunity comes along. Not only that but after today there will be a lot more competition to deal with.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You need to let someone know that you no longer care what they say about you. For too long you have allowed them to dictate the way you feel and now you must take back what they stole from you, not the least of which was your self-respect.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Setbacks of one kind or another are inevitable over the next few days but they don’t have to be harmful. Deal with them as and when they arise and then move on to the next thing that needs to be done. Move toward success with every step you take.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The cosmic picture is changing slowly but surely and it won’t be long before you start to feel better about your long-term prospects, both in your private life and in your career. Opportunities will arrive when you least expect them, so stay alert.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you make a serious effort to get on top of your workload now you will be in a position to do something new and exciting, and financially lucrative, toward the end of the week. It’s never too early to be a winner, so get moving today.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It may seem as if a friend or loved one has been less than supportive of late but most likely that’s because they have been weighed down by worries that you cannot see. Try asking them if there is anything you can do to make their life easier.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The message of the stars as the new week begins is you need to buckle down and get ready for a ride that is thrilling but a touch bumpy as well. Nothing stays the same for long, so be ready to move with the times — and move fast!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Try not to take anything too seriously as the new week begins because there will be so many changes over the next few days that what seems important now will mean nothing to you later on. Whatever you do, make sure it’s done with a smile.
